Opis stanowiska

Currently we are seeking for:

Assistant Finance Officer in the General Ledger Global Production Team

General Ledger Global Production Team belongs to the Group Functions Information & Reporting Department responsible for providing financial data and services to meet Nordea's daily accounting & reporting within set deadlines and securing one version of the truth to all Nordea's stakeholders.

Our aim is to enhance common ways of working across Nordea. We focus on developing and maintaining compliant common information and reporting through unified processes, organisation and platforms. We strive to run and build efficient processes for execution, incident management and accounting reconciliation to support the integrated process for Finance, Capital and Liquidity reporting.

Our Head Office is located in Stockholm and the General Ledger Global Production Team is based in Lodz city centre as a part of the Lodz Nordea Operation Centre. We are cooperating very closely on a daily basis with over 300 employees in the Nordic and Baltic countries and we are a part of the extended value chain within global Group Functions Information and Reporting team in Nordea.

Wymagania

The qualifications you need

We expect from you:

Master degree in Economics related studies
Accounting experience would be an advantage
English on professional level
SAP experience would be an advantage
Good working knowledge of MS Excel
Excellent analytical abilities
Proactiveness
Ability to work in a team and independently
Ability to work under time pressure and to prioritize tasks
Good interpersonal & communicational skills
Positive attitude is a must
Flexibility
Position may require travelling to Nordic countries

The position we offer

General Ledger Global Production Team supports the Nordea’s daily & monthly accounting processes and secures end-to-end financial data integration delivering one version of the truth for the financial reporting. We are currently supporting over 20 entities within Nordea through the various types of financial analysis and reconciliations done with a usage of various applications and tools (flow reconciliations, vertical & horizontal reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations). We also support General Ledger teams in the month end closing process and we are extensively involved into the various Nordea’s projects as UATs performers, experts or project team members.

We are continuously striving to expand and develop by introducing into its portfolio new advanced processes and improving existing ones. We are therefore looking for new employees, with the right competences and mind-set.
