Opis stanowiska

Summary:

The position of Group Reporting Analyst primarily consists of delivering qualitative & accurate standard management reports with variance analysis & comments, based on the consolidation of the figures reported by all Barry Callebaut reporting units worldwide. Such management reports cover both financial and non-financial data, are commented upon and delivered to Group FP&A as well as other various stakeholders within the Group.

 

Accountabilities:

  • Preparation, consolidation and validation of reporting events under responsibility for actual, forecast and budget, and restatement process as well as other information from all Group companies.
  • Preparation of standard reports for various stakeholders, ensuring completeness and accuracy as well as performing first level variance analysis.
  • Working closely together with different stakeholders to facilitate reporting to changing business needs, international financial requirements and Group guidelines as well as for continuous improvement on technical configuration and adjustment of existing events and reports.
  • Working closely together with Group controllers in Zurich to support on ad-hoc analysis of all reporting events (incl. financial statements, forecasts and budgets)
  • Daily communication with the Group’s subsidiaries from around the world

Wymagania

Skills:

 

Qualifications:   

  • University degree in economics, finance or business administration or similar educational background
  • Experience of 3-4 years in controlling or corporate reporting area
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is indispensable. Additional languages like German, French or other languages would be an advantage.

 

Competencies:

  • Very good analytical, conceptual and connective cogitation. Capable of reviewing reports/figures and assess if they are plausible/sensible by looking at variances, as well as providing meaningful analysis and comments.
  • Strong communication skills paired with a good level of customer focus ensuring the capability of working amicably with people of various nationalities and to optimally serve our internal customer base, which typically consists of managers on all levels of hierarchy.
  • Good command of Microsoft Excel, SAP, SAP BO Analysis (SAP Business Warehouse). VBA would be an advantage
  • Hands-on and detail-conscious work style. Ability to work reliably and independently also under deadline pressure
