Opis stanowiska

What this position is about - Purpose:
The BTS GBS function Lead is the senior lead IT position to serve the JTI GBS function in all IT services & systems. The position is a strategic leadership position that liaises on a regular basis with the GBS Management Team including GBS VP, Service Delivery Director & General Managers. He/She advises the GBS VP and his/her senior team on IT related programs and projects that has business value and benefit potential, gives input to the GBS business plan. He/She is also accountable to judge the appropriate IT solution or service in support of business objectives, then leads and/or influences all IT delivery.

What will you do - Responsibilities:

IT-Business Planning Leadership:

  • Act as "Head of the IT" supporting GBS, responsible to lead and oversee all IT related matters with and "end-to-end" IT service delivery mindset. This includes 'one face to the business' in non BTS related issues (network and server infrastructure, application support and development, etc.)
  • Work directly with the GBS VP and leadership team to fully understand the business plan
  • Judge and advise leaders of the function on technologies and/or IT services available to support the delivery of the business plan
  • Is the senior IT point of escalation for the function for any IT related matter
  • Manages the interdependencies between business initiatives requiring integrated or shared IT services
  • Advise the business of the latest JTI IT trends and services, including briefings on the technology industry trends relative to our JTI business (FMCG, Manufacturer) & Global Business Services
  • Proactively pursue innovative solutions in the area of business processes, service delivery and information technology to enhance efficiency/effectiveness

IT Program Leadership:

  • Senior IT Lead is responsible to access, deploy and steer the necessary IT resources to successfully deliver business initiatives
  • Represents IT on executive steering committees of major functional initiatives

Service Delivery Management:

  • Act as single and most senior point of escalation for the management of IT related issues and/or topics affecting a function
  • Has overall responsibility for Change Requests, Incidents, Business Services, Projects and Business Applications assigned to his/her area
  • Defines and manage IT performance KPIs (e.g. Incident trends, change request backlog, etc.) relevant to the business function
  • Tracks and influence the performance of all/any IT related services relevant to the function (e.g. GBS Service Delivery Tools, business application performance, network & infrastucture)
  • Works with fellow business functional or process leads, manage the risk of interdependent IT 
  • Actively manage 3rd party IT service providers

IT Strategy Management:

  • Ensures that the creation and management of JTI's overall corporate IT vision and strategy reflects the requirements and priorities of the business.
  • Ensures the business function is fully aware of and understands the JTI IT vision and strategy.

IT Governance:

  • Ensures application of corporate IT systems change management policy
  • Drives cost avoidance through the alignment as much as possible to corporate application standards
  • Ensures Global Reference Model (GRM) governance for all global applications in his/her area and guard process standardization requirements are met
  • Decrease technology risk and reduce cost through following corporate IT technology standards and guidelines
  • Tracks and/or manages business budget related to technology spend 

Compliance:

  • Ensures a consistent application of computer controls that support financial audit requirements
  • Ensures IT systems falling under J-SOX scope fulfil audit requirements
  • Ensures compliance to corporate IT security policies, procedures and standards to ensure consistent protection of information assets of the business function
  • Ensures compliance to the corporate IT change control procedure which is a global IT J-SOX control 

People Leadership & Line Management:

  • Implements the appropriate organization design of IT personnel that ensures clarity and accountability for attaining business goals and targets, and cost effectiveness 
  • Optimizes the IT culture working at the engagement cold-face with the business, seeking to obtain maximum collaboration
  • Implements performance & talent management processes with corporate best practice
  • Directs participation in the recruitment, coaching and Performance Management process of own key team leads

Wymagania

Who are we looking for - Requirements:

  • University Degree in Computer or Technical Science or strong IT background, plus additional business education
  • 8+ years of IT management (including people management) in multinational companies, Global Business Services / Shared Services implementation experience preferable
  • 10+ years Project / Program Management experience managing implementation of global strategic projects
  • Demonstrable experience of implementing global business applications such as SAP Finance & Operations, SAP HR, SuccessFactors & ServiceNow
  • Excellent knowledge of Information Technology, business processes & service management
  • Excellent Business Relationship Management Skills (Customers & Suppliers) in a global multicultural environment
  • Good working knowledge of business and related processes in FMCG industry
  • Fluent command in English is a must
