Opis stanowiska

Start date: We prefer students able to start as soon as possible, no later than Q3 2021

Duration: 6 months. Students able to extend their internship are preferred.

We are not able to support this internship assignment with a thesis subject, for this we require an availability of 40 hours per week to work on the responsibilities.

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Support the global marketing team within the Mother & Childcare Business of Philips, which is a fast-growing business with lots of momentum and a track record in attracting and developing people with talent. Since 1984, Mother & Childcare has been designing and manufacturing products that are inspired by nature and have been developed through extensive research and clinical trials. Philips Avent is a global player with a portfolio consisting of, among others, bottles, breast pumps, soothers, cups and monitors.

You are responsible for

Your role will be to assist the Mother & Childcare global marketing team with new market introductions and product roadmap including:

  • Help in driving activities related to the definition, development, and introduction of the Comforting propositions.
  • Competitor Analysis to support key innovation projects
  • Supports work on Product Launch Plans (trade presentations, launch activation activities online activity…)
  • Market, competitive product, and price benchmarking as input for new product developments
  • Driving portfolio efficiency, sales, and profitability analysis to continuously optimize our product ranges across the globe

You are a part of

An energetic team working on developing great products for babies and their parents within Philips Mother & Childcare.

You will be working at our head office in Amsterdam.

Due to the current COVID19 situation, we do support working from a home-based situation. In the event that the management guidelines will allow us to return to the offices, your Philips mentor will inform you.

Wymagania

  • Currently studying towards your University Bachelor/Master WO Bsc./Msc. degree in: Business Administration, Business Management and/or Marketing
  • Clear passion for consumer marketing and product management
  • Detail orientation, analytical and able to multi-task in a fast paced and quickly changing environment
  • Action-oriented, independent and pro-active attitude, accountable and responsible
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, fluent in English, both written and spoken
