We are looking for a Service Desk Specialist to work together with Nordic Units in order to align local procedures to the Nordic standards and solve tasks that require independent judgment and own decisions on how they should be solved. You will be responsible for supporting end users in case of IT failures or standard requests according to defined processes. This is an opportunity for you to act as first level support to all end users (single point of contact).

About this opportunity


You’ll join People Service Centre in Group People, where we design, deliver, measure and improve the core People processes in collaboration with Global Service lines and Centres of Excellence for creating better user experiences for all our employees and people leaders in Nordea.
 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage various changes and improvements to People services related processes connected to time & leave, payroll & benefits for 4 Nordic countries, Poland and Estonia,
  • Keep close collaboration with COEs, Service Excellence, Process Owners, payroll vendor and assigned stakeholders to ensure that the systems / processes meet business requirements and reflect desired changes,
  • Evaluate quality of process deliveries, identify gaps, challenge validity of existing solutions / processes and optimise them within area of compensation, time & leave, payroll & benefits,
  • Develop instructions related to supported and improved processes,
  • Act as a 2nd line of support (SME) for people services delivery teams related to supported and improved processes

Wymagania

Your experience and background:  

  • Practical understanding of HR processes, policies and practices
  • Practical experience in HR process improvement activities and process design activities ideally within a global HR environment 
  • Strong interest in innovative HR solution and willingness to drive process optimization initiatives
  • Very good communication skills and working with cross functional teams
  • Analytical mindset
  • Success Factors and/or SAP HR knowledge will be an asset
  • Manage work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Positive, collaborative and adaptable approach to problem solving and changes
  • Very good written and verbal English communication skills
