Opis stanowiska

In this role you will be developing, planning and implementing Procurement & Logistics (PL) strategy focused on optimizing costs, quality, delivery and reliability of suppliers and supplied products for an assigned global category or group of categories within direct material area:

Plastics – Raw materials and Components.

You will be ensuring execution in accordance with Company, PL and Supply Base Management instructions and procedures. You will be reporting to the Global Head of Categories of the Division.

Your responsibilities

  • Leveraging the Continuous Improvement Process Sourcing (CIPS) process, implementing effective sourcing strategies in line with business strategy ensuring that the supply base/suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements.
  • Managing relationships with suppliers in partnership with regional and local Category Management teams.
  • Managing planning and tracking of procurement activities, cost budgets, emerging country spending and savings forecasts.
  • Minimizing risk regarding quality and financial exposure by buying in accordance with quality and commercial procedures and in accordance with Company guidelines.
  • Negotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renewing price lists, terms and conditions, adopting corporate contractual framework to the local business needs, recommending frame agreements to management and executing upon approval, providing ongoing oversight and contract management with key suppliers.
  • Ensuring identification, investigation, and selection of appropriate suppliers (focusing on integrity, quality, delivery, cost and sustainability).
  • Designing and implementing cost-out programs and/or processes to reach financial targets. Assuring that the raw material commercial conditions are effectively implemented across components suppliers / molders.
  • Applying and implementing PL standards, tools, and processes focused on business continuity for the assigned commodity or group of commodities.
  • Contributing to and participating in setting and implementing budget and targets within the framework, ensuring the Category sourcing performance targets are achieved.

Wymagania

  • Masters’ Degree in Business, Engineering or other relevant coursework.
  • Experience in procurement, sourcing, financial structures, supply chains, profitability and present great understanding of the supply market and legal requirements.
  • Strong experience in direct categories management at global scale: priority in plastics (raw materials and components).
  • Additional experience in other direct categories like: metals (raw materials and components), electronics, subcontracting, etc. will be an asset.
  • Solving business cases and contract management.
  • Ability to shape the strategy and to deal with direct material categories / sourcing (sourced by the factory).
  • Diverse background, adaptability to fast-changing environment, proven track of successful performance in virtual and multicultural environment.
  • Proficient with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and SAP.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills including business English skills.
  • Willing to travel 40% - 50% of the work time.
