Opis stanowiska

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Analyze the global portfolio and, based on knowledge of the local market, identify which parts of the global portfolio should be offered to the local market
  • Drive the development of the global portfolio in a direction that suits local market requirements, based on the knowledge of the local market
  • Facilitate sales of the own portfolio through adaptation of global offers, training of the sales organization, support structures, etc.
  • Maintain and implement a Portfolio Strategy that includes a long-term vision and overall goals. The strategy contributes to both the overall strategy for ABB Motion, PL, and relevant global service strategies. Local sales managers are particularly important partners in the development and implementation of the Portfolio Strategy.
  • Based on identified gaps, build a business case for the development of new offers and drive these towards the global product manager
  • Gather information about customer needs from customers, channel partners and the sales organization
  • Create/maintain a division of the market into different market segments and identify which market segments should be prioritized and where growth potential exists


  • Higher technical education, preferred: Electrical Engineering, Automation, Robotics, Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering or related.
  • Min. 3 years of experience in the area of industrial products management or services (inld. digital offering)
  • Solution oriented and open minded.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills (incl. presentations) and teamwork
  • Knowledge of English to communicate freely (written and spoken).
  • Cat B driver's license
  • Willing to travel (approx. 20% of time)
