Opis stanowiska

Position

The position exists to manage the preparation, integration and governance of Global Tobacco Net Income reporting, ensuring accuracy, IFRS compliance and consistency of deliverables by coordinating and challenging inputs from multiple stakeholders to support informed decision-making.

Responsibilities

Quarterly close

  • Own the end‑to‑end delivery and quality of the Net Income Deck, including reconciled numbers, IFRS‑compliant analysis, consistent narratives, clean formatting, and timely execution of assigned JSOX controls. Coordinate and challenge inputs from Corporate FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and regional finance teams, ensuring internal consistency and clear ownership across the deck.
  • Deliver high‑quality inventory provisions and write‑offs analysis (P&L and Balance Sheet), including preparation of clear summary narratives for quarterly reporting deliverables.
  • Review assigned Market Free Cash Flow briefs, focusing on analytical consistency and alignment with IFRS requirements.

Net Income planning

  • Own the preparation and quality of the Net Income planning decks, ensuring IFRS compliance, internal consistency, and readiness for senior management review.
  • Coordinate the below‑OCC planning process, including deadline setting, tracker meeting governance, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Own the governance of Net Income sensitivities, including collecting inputs from relevant teams, ensuring completeness and transparency of key drivers and assumptions, and maintaining an up-to-date consolidated sensitivities view.
  • Pilot Net Income performance on an ongoing basis, including the ability to reperform the NI forecast at any point in time, monitor performance versus the latest plan, understand key variances and drivers, and proactively flag risks or propose initiatives to limit volatility.

Projects & ad‑hoc

  • Contribute to a corporate initiative to modernize  accounting, reporting and analytical review capabilities (using  AI and Power BI), including delivery of assigned analyses and acting as the project’s user‑experience representative.
  • Support ad‑hoc reporting and analytical requests, including data analysis and preparation of management‑level presentations on selected accounting topics, as well as presentation of conclusions to targeted (often senior) audiences.

Wymagania

Requirements

  • University degree in Finance, Chartered / certified accountant
  • 7+ years within an accounting function, preferably in a multinational company reporting under IFRS and/or Big Four experience (Assistant Manager level or above is a real plus).
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Strong IFRS accounting expertise; solid understanding of group consolidation.
  • Understanding of below‑OCC P&L topics such as FX, interest, or taxes, sufficient to assess the reasonableness of inputs received from specialist teams and reflect them appropriately in Net Income reporting.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and taking ownership for final deliverables.
  • SAP knowledge preferred; advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills; ability to integrate inputs from multiple teams.
  • High attention to detail, strong sense of accountability, and commitment to delivery under tight deadlines.
  • Experience contributing to reporting or analytics transformation initiatives (e.g. AI, automation, or Power BI in finance reporting) would be an asset.
  • Power BI exposure, with the ability to understand and challenge insights (hands‑on development not required) would be an asset.
