What is the Treasury Accounting – Money Movement & Client Reporting team responsible for?

The primary purpose of the TACC MMCR department is to provide accurate and timely shareholder activity information to various downstream clients (e.g. Investment Accounting, Portfolio Managers) and ensure that fund net asset value calculations and sales reports accurately reflect the daily activity.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of an Intern?

• Report daily shareholder activity to Investment Accounting, including capital stock and holdover reporting
• Initiate money movements for shareholder activity between operational and fund custodial bank accounts
• Initiate money movements between operational and corporate accounts as commission and fee detail dictates
• Report large trades to Portfolio Managers, where applicable
• Perform daily reconciliation of accounts payable, accounts receivable, dividend event balancing, total outstanding shares and registered share reconciliations (when applicable) 
• Ensure unresolved problems and issues are promptly escalated
