Opis stanowiska
• Responsible for handling Labor & Employment matters across the Europe region, with a strong focus on East and Central Europe countries (e.g. Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Serbia, Hungary); opportunity to expand scope further.
• Collaborate with EL Division Lead Counsels, Regional General Counsels, Integrity and HR to support EL goals and promote compliance with labor & employment laws.
• Provide guidance on both individual and collective labor law matters, investigations, employment framework, organizational changes, M&A and risk mitigation.
• Oversee employment-related disputes and manages network of outside counsel law firms.
• Educate stakeholders, tracks industry trends, facilitate M&A and supports rolling out labor law projects across EL’s footprint.
• Enabling accurate risk assessment and providing clear recommendations and approvals, as required, including in connection with public tenders and laws and regulations related to other public administrative bodies, especially with respect to antitrust law.
• Understanding key drivers of the business and industry and immersing yourselves in the most important business and legal issues facing the company.
• Leading legal matters with high exposure for a specific business and the group, including interactions with authorities and big ticket/sensitive litigations.
• Identifying risks, external threats, and opportunities to the company, proactively, and proposing appropriate strategies.
