Opis stanowiska

Established in 2008, the BSP/Alcentra platform manages funds for institutions, high net worth individuals, and retail investors across various strategies, including: private/opportunistic debt, liquid loans, high yield, special situations, long-short liquid credit, and commercial real estate debt.  Their objective is to deliver strong, risk-adjusted returns that are less correlated, through a complementary suite of traditional and alternative credit strategies. In pursuing this objective, their investment strategy and approach to credit selection are based on intensive fundamental research and credit analysis, combined with active portfolio management to minimize credit losses.

BSP is seeking to hire an intelligent and highly motivated individual to join the Portfolio Analytics Team. The team provides essential analytics and reporting support to Business Development, Investor Relations, and the Investment Team. This role focuses on performance reporting and data analytics across investments under management, with a primary focus on the Private Debt platform.

You will own recurring performance deliverables, help respond to investor data requests, and maintain analytics tooling (primarily Excel and Power BI). You’ll partner closely with teams across the firm to ensure data accuracy, consistent definitions, and scalable reporting processes.

How you will add value

Core Responsibilities

  • You will create and maintain performance reports for Private Debt and Distressed platforms.
  • You will partner with Business Development to answer investor questions and data requests.
  • You will reconcile data sources and maintain an audit-ready reporting trail.
  • You will enhance Power BI dashboards for monitoring and reconciliation.
  • You will identify process inefficiencies and implement automation improvements.
  • You will share weekly progress updates with stakeholders

Experience & Technical Skills

  • 3+ years in financial services
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or economics
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to learn quickly
  • Experience with financial instruments (bank debt, bonds, loans, equity, derivatives)
  • Advanced Excel skills and interest in automation
  • Familiarity with financial statements and performance metrics
  • Comfortable working in Power BI (consuming reports required, creating reports nice to have)
