Opis stanowiska

What this position is about - Purpose:

The position will be in charge of coordination of a wide range of financial support activities to dedicated function: budgeting and overall performance management support, providing financial advice through business reports/analysis; and other core financials services. The position will manage a team of Finance Controllers dedicated to the function in scope. Responsibilities include:

  • Coordination of budgeting and performance management processes, ensuring timely, accurate outcomes.
  • Compiling financial summaries for management discussions.
  • Managing financial and headcount data integrity in systems.
  • Conducting financial analysis and producing reports for decision-making.
  • Providing guidance and training on financial matters.
  • Coordinating with the MFCF manager and supporting functions in system-related issues.

What will you do - Responsibilities: 

  • Management Accounting and FP&A:
  • Support budgeting and performance management processes (A&SP, OL, LE, TDT).
  • Coordinate the work allocation among team members supporting relevant departments
  • Coordinate, collect, validate and forecast as required the financial data/ inputs as per set planning guidelines and timelines
  • Support functions and Finance Lead in headcount planning (GVA/non-GVA) in close cooperation with P&C. Ensure HC plan/actual data completeness and accuracy for reporting.

Business Support:

  • Provide financial analysis and progress reports.
  • Support functions in all system related matters - SAP / R3 / BW /TM1 /HC tracker/HC reporting tools.
  • Assist in project and investment decision financial details.

Financial Accounting:

  • Coordinate transactional processes and cost tracking.
  • Ensure timely and accurate cost recognition in financial statements.

Financial Governance:

  • Support in preparing functional BAP/Memos.
  • Provide guidance to the functions re compliance with Operating Guidelines, JTI Policies & Procedures, JSOX and other internal controls.

Financial Process Improvement and Cost Management:

  • Support initiatives for process efficiencies.
  • Provide expertise to achieve cost management goals.

Team Management:

  • Management of the team performance, management of the team development, leading by example and setting the right culture of safety, mutual respect and continuous improvement
  • Building a robust back up structure in the team
  • Supporting CPM with performance appraisal of finance controllers. No direct reporting line

GFF Team:

  • Support CPM, Global Functions Finance Director and Finance Lead in ad-hoc requests, initiatives and projects
  • Ownership and maintenance of GBS process documentation for the processes in scope as well as the regular update of said documentation

Wymagania

Who are we looking for - Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA) is an advantage
  • Minimum 5 years finance experience, preferably in multinational FMCG companies.
  • Strong budgeting and planning experience (FP&A) with exposure to senior management.
  • Fluency in English
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, SAP, BW, Excel. TM1 experience is a plus.
