Opis stanowiska

Scope of the role:
The Security Maintenance (SM) team within the Investment Accounting and Operations (IAO) department is responsible for the creation and maintenance of security data for all asset classes (U.S. domestic and international) covering various security types such as Fixed Income,
Money Market, and Equity that are used in multiple internal downstream applications. Security data is retrieved from outside vendors such as Bloomberg, ICE, etc. and it is accurately entered/ represented in the Enterprise Security Master System prior to sending the information downstream to our internal clients. The team researches and resolves exceptions for new securities originated during the setup process and ensuring that static / reference
data is accurately maintained on the systems post performing quality checks.

Working with us, you will be responsible for:

Create/Open new Institutions (Issuers) and Instruments (securities) in the Enterprise Security Master System within SLAs,
Perform non-complex maintenance tasks,
Escalate all issues promptly and effectively to seniors and supervisors as needed,
Research, input, and validate security indicative data on various internal databases and systems,
Participate in discussions regarding data quality issues and other process challenges in order to learn how the various tasks / controls fit together,
Participate in projects around data cleanups initiatives under Senior/Team lead supervision,
Identify and initiate workflow improvements,
Compile daily metrics for the following: Vendor quality, Monthly success measures, Activity log reporting, Daily productivity report

Wymagania

Availability to work 25-30 hours a week,
Current student status,
Knowledge of the financial markets and various security types,
Knowledge of MS Office Applications,
Understanding of different security types (i.e. stocks, bonds and derivatives) and knowledge of capital markets, financial products, securities etc.,
Acquaintance with Digital/Automation tools are preferred – Alteryx, Power BI etc.
