Opis stanowiska

This is a strategic leadership role that is key for the successful growth of the Poland Factory Cluster.

As an integral part of the JTI IT organization, this position is to improve business performance by driving business efficiency and effectiveness through Information Technology and process expertise. 

The objective of this position is to advise the local management teams on IT strategy and the development of IT in the Poland Factory Cluster, aligning with their respective strategic business plans and recommending, implementing and supporting relevant technologies.

The incumbent will address IT issues with business leads, provide consultancy on solutions, ensure delivery of effective IT services such as desktop support, technical infrastructure, innovative tools and applications standardization, and assure the integrity of Cluster applications/systems/interfaces.

While ensuring adherence to JTI IT technology standards, with the direction and support of the Regional Factory IT Director, the incumbent also leads and manages his IT team staff across their cluster of markets and their areas of responsibilities, and in the execution of identified projects, whilst ensuring that day-to-day operations continue to run effectively and efficiently.

What will you do - Responsibilities:

Business Relationship Management:

  • Developing the IT strategy to support the Factory Cluster mission and core objectives by working with the Senior Business Management teams to fully understand their business plans.
  • Assess and advise leaders in the Factory Cluster on technologies and/or IT services available to support the delivery of their business plans.

Business Transformation Management:

  • Accountable for overseeing all IT related projects in the Factory Cluster, directly for pure technology projects, co-lead business projects with high technology dependency and quality control of global IT projects deployed to the market (e.g. SAP, TME, Network upgrades).
  • Identify systems to support Business Processes and improve current solutions, ensuring they deliver to requirements and are cost effective in alignment with IT strategy and the Application Portfolio. Govern these projects in compliance with Operating Guidelines.  In a Factory Cluster environment, develop synergies where possible with delivery of solutions.
  • Accountable to ensure respective local Management Team Members are aware and take ownership where required of technology related business transformation through project management best practice (steering committees, etc.).

IT Governance:

  • Full ownership of respective IT budgets in Factory Cluster. Responsible for planning of the AP/SP and LE processes and delivering financial commitments with clarity on how budget is used to run existing services, the cost of transformation/change and efficiency gained by the changes.  Optimize, control and reduce costs when possible, to improve Cluster efficiency and profitability.
  • Govern system change control through compliance to IT policies, procedures & standards. 
  • Drive cost avoidance through the alignment as much as possible to corporate application standards.
  • Decrease technology risk and reduce cost through following IT technology standards and guidelines.

Security, Business Continuity & Compliance:

  • Main single point of contact for all IT related matters and has full accountability for IT DRP as part of Business Continuity Plan, Application Governance, J-Sox and Audit review. 
  • Ensuring adequate security and authorization concerning the use of hardware, software and data for optimal use and to safe guard continuity, confidentiality and integrity.
  • Ensures compliance of Factory Cluster security implementations in line with Global Standards and the appropriate Legal context.  
  • Ensures business continuity by supervising the IT Disaster Recovery procedures and documentation, which are reviewed and tested on a regular basis.
  • Fully supports the Factory Cluster and global Legal teams with data investigations and chain of evidence process.

 

IT Vision & Strategy:

  • Support the development of JTI's IT Vision and Strategy by providing input on Factory Cluster requirements and priorities.
  • Accountable for IT strategic planning in his Factory Cluster and its alignment with company strategy, in order to fulfill company objectives and maximize the IT contribution to the respective JTI entities or to JTI as a whole.
  • Having full ownership for creation and execution of IT Strategy at Factory Cluster level, drive innovation in order to enable attainment of strategic objectives for future growth and profitability in the market in alignment with the JTI and IT Vision 2030.

People Leadership:

  • Lead IT teams in the Factory Cluster IT team in fully embracing the Company's vision, mission and values.  
  • Ensure implementation of the appropriate organisation design of IT personnel across the Factory to ensure clarity and accountability for attaining business goals and targets, aligning to the IT guidelines on structure and capaity.  
  • Be directly responsible for the hiring and termination of IT contractors.

Service Delivery Management:

  • Ensure the company's business community is provided with appropriate support and training/development in business systems, software and hardware in order to make effective and efficient usage of systems and resources and enable users to achieve business goals.
  • Ensure strategic alignment with Internal and External IT Service Providers. Establish and maintain strong and efficient connections with providers. Responsible for timely fulfillment of commitments by suppliers, according to contracts.

Wymagania

  • University Degree in Computer or Technical Science or strong IT background.
  • 8+ years’ experience in the IT discipline with 5+ years of those years in IT management.
  • Fluent oral and written English.
  • Strategic insight and excellent knowledge of business and related processes in areas such as M&S, P&C, Finance and Legal, GSC, Leaf, SRA Areas (according to Cluster environment).
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of information technology, business applications and infrastructure which is standard within JTI, such as Microsoft solutions, local and wide area network, telecommunication, ERP & CRM business process analysis.
  • Proven people management skills and understanding of virtual teams, leveraging skills and resources across a dynamic, cross-location environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business environment and priorities.
