About the role:

Within the Certification Management team, this new position will support the Certification Manager with the growing need for global coordination of certified volumes. The role will be end-to-end responsible for specific processes in BC. A key objective of this role is to manage the credit flow across the group, including but not limited to: tracking certified volumes, driving the reconciliations of the position, optimizing intra-company flows, measuring financial impact, as well as expanding on existing reports, and building new reporting. In addition, the role will also support the Certification Manager with strategic and operational tasks, such as representing the function in a project, etc. This role is a unique opportunity to join a new team and contribute to the growth and direction of certification management in BC.

Key responsibilities:

Ownership

  • The Reporting expert will be the owner of the credit reporting process, which includes monthly reporting, etc.
  • The role will also be the technical expert behind the data structure setup.
  • The Reporting expert will lead a team of analysts and will be responsible for the team meeting its targets, deadlines, etc.
  • The role will be the operational lead between different regions and our Shared Service Center (SSC) regarding credit reporting.
  • The Reporting expert will further develop BC’s certification management strategy together with their manager.

Reporting

  • Closely work with regional teams to ensure that the data process is followed and that we have a correct and up-to-date view of our data.
  • Responsible for monthly credit position reconciliations, including checks on procedure adherence.
  • Understanding how to position reporting feeds into position management and flags any potential risks.
  • Develop further reports together with various functions that deliver actionable insights to the business.
  • Build and drive the monthly reconciliation process.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Act as a contact point for questions around credits, including multisite alignments, process review, etc.
  • Wherever necessary build processes and solidify a standard way of working in the regions.
  • Build up and maintain the content of the internal Credit Management Process website and lead the training cycle.
  • Build up a network with internal and external stakeholders, such as certification bodies, auditors, internal customers, etc.
  • Become a driving member of the CoE and represent credit management in various in-house projects.

Wymagania

  • Bachelor / Master’s in Finance, Economics, or similar.
  • 5+ years of work experience. Preferably having exposure in one of the following aspects of business: Commercial (sourcing, sales, pricing) or finance (controlling, pricing).
  • Comfortable with responsibility over an outcome, not just inputs. Previous end-to-end ownership of a process is a must.
  • Able to work with multiple deadlines.
  • Problem solver who can take on an existing challenge, analyze it, align with stakeholders, and implement the solution.
  • Self-starter and proactive; able to operate autonomously and proactively network in an ambiguous environment.
  • Strong stakeholder and change management background, including strong communication skills, including the ability to influence people in other teams and functions.
  • Previous financial reporting and FP&A experience is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Advanced excel skills and comfortable working with larger datasets.
  • Experience in building reports in excel or other programs
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills
