Opis stanowiska

For this position, we are looking for a highly motivated Senior Business Analyst for Analytics and Reporting to join our team in Lodz Poland. The ideal candidate will work at a senior level in both functional, and technical aspects in various domains. He/she should have a proven track record in business-facing roles as well as technical expertise in designing, developing, testing, and coordinating the implementation of reporting solutions, tracking, and performance monitoring within BI, with a focus on SAP and Microsoft Analytics applications.
The position reports to the IM Template Lead.

Key responsibilities:

Act as a trusted partner, interfacing between various business departments and Information management teams
Provide expert knowledge in data architecture, modeling, integration, and governance on SAP BW/4HANA and Microsoft Azure platforms
Work closely with business teams to understand their requirements, translate them into detailed functional designs, prototype and deliver timely end to end Analytics solutions leveraging corporate platforms and external vendors
Identify business opportunities in the Analytics area and continually seek to leverage and promote solutions to address strategic and tactical conclusions
Ensure Analytics solutions compliance to solution design, prepare best practices, propose a technical architecture, and review architecture design
Follow the latest trends in Analytics and stay up-to-date on Analytics knowledge to help the organization set the right priorities
Enjoy working independently and taking on new challenges and demonstrate a passion for continuous improvements
Well-structured, analytical thinking and demonstrating the ability to explain processes in a clear and understandable manner to a non-technical audience
Mentor more junior team members

Wymagania

Proven expert knowledge of various Analytics technologies with a focus on Microsoft Azure and PowerBI. Familiarity with SAP analytics stack solutions is a plus.
5+ years of hands-on experience with designing and implementing reporting and advanced analytics solutions
- Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure components
- Hands-on experience in data integration between SAP and no-SAP systems and cloud services (SAP Extractors, DB connect, SDA)
- Working knowledge of Python and SQL
- Basic functional knowledge of SAP modules, preferably FI-CO
- Be able to propose architecture design and provide guidance on the functionality of Analytics components
3+ years of hands-on experience working with PowerBI
Strong experience in all phases of the software development process including requirements gathering, architecture design, implementation, testing and documentation
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to balance competing priorities
Very strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
Self-driven, flexible, open-minded professional and proactive team player who ensures implementation towards agreed goals and timelines
Experience working in an agile environment is a plus
Fluency in English
