The IS Sourcing Regional Lead (EUROPE) shall be the go-to lead for all Distinct and Common IS Sourcing Requirements in Europe, delivering IS Sourcing support and services to and in collaboration with the Business Areas. You will lead IS Sourcing activities for the assigned Requests, define the sourcing/negotiation strategy & drive the sourcing event through to successful completion in the Requirement to Contract lifecycle. (typically for Software, IT Services, & Infrastructure / Hardware categories)

Your responsibilities

• The principle single point of contact to all the Business Areas (EL, MO, RA & PA) in Europe, for all IS Sourcing activities delivered to the BA’s predominantly Distinct & Common.
• Lead (Distinct & Common) IS Sourcing projects and negotiations across all IS Sourcing categories, (typically Software, IT Services, Infrastructure, Hardware & Communications) in Europe supporting all BA Distinct and Common IS Spend from engagement, Sourcing Event (RFQ/RFP/RFI), subsequent negotiations through to contract signature
• Define the sourcing & negotiation strategy including negotiation targets, negotiations plan, governance, BATNA, weaknesses and strengths
• Deliver a regional IS Sourcing strategy aligned with Global IS Sourcing strategy and Business Area IS / IS Sourcing strategies and objectives
• Work in close collaboration with Heads of IM&S in BA’s, BA IS Operational Effectiveness Leads, BA IS Sourcing representatives and BA stakeholders as appropriate
• Cooperate closely with customers, internal stakeholders and subject matter experts (legal, tax, security, privacy & finance) providing leadership and guidance for allocated IS Sourcing projects
• Support Business Area and IT stakeholders in aligning IS Sourcing delivery model to business needs
• Drive cost saving for allocated negotiations & contribute to the achievement of IS Sourcing saving targets (accurate and periodical forecasting & reporting)

Your background

• At least 10 years professional experience especially in the competency areas of: supply chain management, IS Sourcing, stakeholder management, management of high volume of contracts, lead complex IS Sourcing projects, problem solving, cross-functional collaboration, commercial and technical know-how
• Track record of minimum 5 years of experience in strategic IS Sourcing (especially Software & IT Services)
• IS Sourcing Category Management experience (preferably Software, IT Services or Infrastructure)
• Substantial understanding of the legal aspects in the context of IS Sourcing contract negotiations
• Excellent leadership skills and collaboration between different businesses / stakeholders
• Fluent and collaborative with wide network of peers and colleagues
• Cultural awareness, excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Fluent written and spoken English
