What will you do at JTI?

• Prepare documents for each activity/process, update documents for any changes to ensure knowledge sharing and smooth backups
• Provide or update data in Power BI
• Proactively seek improvements to existing tools and/or develop new ones to improve the data services provided
• Perform planned upgrades, migrations or integrations of interfaces, systems and platforms
• Support GTR projects where a Data Team expert is involved to provide analytical or technical support
• Collaborate with business analysts, data analysts, data engineers and end users such as managers and business executives
• Translate business needs into technical specifications, monitor and resolve technical issues with components and processes within existing tools
• Maintain existing Power BI report sets and write new reports as required

• you have a university degree or equivalent experience (mathematics, computer science, statistics)
• you have a working knowledge of SQL queries and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• you have a good knowledge of BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI)
• you have experience in writing Power BI reports
• you have advanced MS Excel, Power Point, Power BI, SQL, VBA (basic understanding of database architecture principles in order to build proper relationships between tables)
• you have numerical skills, an analytical mind with a focus on problem solving
• you know English at an advanced level
• an additional advantage will be if you have experience and knowledge of the tobacco industry.
