Your responsibilities

• Demonstrates solid technical proficiency by performing a variety of technology/engineering assignments, mainly in electrical apparatus for MV application
• Analyzing failure and providing hypotheses about the failure mechanisms
• Develops design changes and component specification changes to improve the product and eliminate the failure causes in the products
• Understands and applies applicable processes, standards, guidelines, and requirements including design constraints.
• Helping other Project Managers with their projects and / or project documentation
• Oversees the development and management of cost, schedule, quality, and performance objectives for projects.
• Models and promotes team collaboration within R&D as well as between R&D and Product Management and other functions/stakeholders
• Understands the importance of IP for ABB's business, and contributes to IP discussions in their projects

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or similar with a minimum of 2 years of experience
• Fluent in AutoCad and /or Soildworks, MS Office
• Previous experience in the field of medium voltage apparatus (switch-disconnectors) will be beneficial
• Experience with and knowledge of project management (minimum of 2 years of experience)
• Good written and spoken English
• Willingness to travel on business, driving license - category B
