Opis stanowiska

As the Operations Management Team Lead, you will orchestrate the operations management delivery, aligning with the strategic goals of the Domain Delivery department and providing services to your customers, the Service Owners. The role centers on leading a team of operations professionals, fostering a high-performance culture, and overseeing ITIL-based service operation activities. Key responsibilities include establishing and monitoring Operations Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), engaging in contract negotiations and SLA definitions with vendors, and directing incident and problem management processes. Additionally, you'll be tasked with building and maintaining a high-class operations management system, ensuring service delivery enhancement, and adhering to corporate IS regulations and standards. Your role is crucial in ensuring the optimal performance and continuous availability of business-critical applications.

This position reports to

IS Domain Owner

Your responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a roadmap for operations management delivery, ensuring alignment with the Domain Delivery department strategic goals.
  • Lead and manage a team of 4-8 operations professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Define and oversee the implementation of ITIL-based service operation activities in collaboration with IS Service Owners and Architects.
  • Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and deliver monthly reports on operational status and progress.
  • Engage in contract negotiations and define SLAs with vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Direct incident and problem management processes to uphold service levels and drive continuous improvement.
  • Build and sustain a high-class operations management system to enhance IS department service delivery.
  • Ensure team adherence to corporate IS regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Assume the role of Operations Manager for a business-critical application, ensuring optimal performance, continuous availability, and effective incident management.

Wymagania

  • You have around 7 years of experience in IT environment.
  • You have at least 2-3 years of experience in a leadership role within IT operations, with a strong track record in operational excellence.
  • Your expertise encompasses ITIL frameworks, DevOps practices, and technical management of IS services.
  • You possess outstanding communication skills in English, capable of clearly articulating complex IT concepts and leading multinational team.
  • You have experience in tactical planning, KPI definition, and performance monitoring within an IT environment.
  • Your background includes vendor management, SLA negotiation, and establishing effective operational contracts.
  • You are adept in incident management and service restoration, with a keen focus on minimizing business impact.
  • You hold a relevant Bachelor’s Degree or higher, with certifications in ITIL, Project Management, or a related field being highly desirable.
