Opis stanowiska
The SRA Chemical Regulation and SDS Manager is responsible for the authoring and maintenance of JT group Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and hazard labels for JT group materials and relevant products in accordance with EU CLP, EAEU GOST standards and UN GHS utilizing JTI's standard applications. The manager will provide regulatory guidance to the JT group business functions, regarding applicable product classification and labelling requirements. Additionally, the manager is responsible to collect relevant data and to conduct chemical substance monitoring. The Manager also supports the monitoring of evolving chemical regulations, their business impact assessment, and the subsequent development of appropriate processes to ensure compliance and appropriate hazard communication. This requires coordination across various business functions and JT group suppliers to ensure that relevant information is collated, available for audits and submitted to authorities in line with specific national and/or regional requirements such as REACH, K-REACH, KKDIK, EAEU technical Regulations, CLP/GHS and equivalent requirements.
What will you do - responsibilities:
- Author SDS and labels for JT group materials and products in-line with legal requirements (e.g. CLP, GHS) in multiple languages adhering to JTIs processes and best practices and ensure appropriate documentation thereof.
- Provide regulatory guidance regarding applicable product classification and labelling requirements.
- Ensure ongoing timely generation of REACH and REACH type inventories in accordance with legal requirements,
- Compile submission dossiers
- On a global basis closely monitor all current and future developments associated with chemical regulations
- Identify and categorize all associated regulatory duties and requirements and develop new processes and solutions to meet those in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure appropriate compilation of Occupational and Environmental risk data for use in REACH CSA.
- Provide technical guidance on the further development of SRA’s IT systems and tools to ensure Chemical Management obligations are fully considered.
