The main responsibility of IS Application Specialist is maintaining the application, application management service delivery and providing support to business for executing the business plans/ strategies. Building a strong relationship with business users, IS service delivery vendors and will ensure a fruitful benefit. Very important thing is communication and collaboration with other team members.

This role is responsible for contributing leadership, technical and business process/data expertise to support ongoing operations and/or develop new solutions.

Has deep understanding of the current procedures and systems currently in place. Ability to quickly learn new processes and have vision for creating new solutions and implementing existing solutions. Support the business / operations team in all facets of application use.

Your responsibilities

• Manage all application support, application management service delivery and operational needs for business applications.
• Coordinate with application implementation project team and establish the appropriate timelines and budget. Takeover new implementation to application run management upon completion of project delivery.
• Collaborates and monitors processes and works with AMS delivery (both software and hardware) vendors to ensure optimal quality, system performance and swift delivery.
• Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for key systems/processes in subject teams and day-to-day functions.
• Ensure that applications are secure, scalable, and efficient.
• Monitor application performance and oversee software updates, patches, and upgrades.
• Set performance goals, conduct performance reviews, and provide mentorship and guidance to the Application team and Application Management Service delivery vendors.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and prioritize software requirements/ functional improvement requirements.
• Collaborate with vendors and functional business owners to implement new software applications/rollout of existing applications/ functionality improvements.
• Ensure that applications comply with relevant industry regulations and standards.
• Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and applications.
• Work with Application service providers and application vendor support personnel to drive projects and support issues to resolution.
• Define Application Management Service delivery SLAs and KPIs and monitor and report SLAs and KPIs outcome.
• Process owner of ITGC controls of managed Applications and ensure control compliance as required by each IT control.

• Bachelor's degree (/BS/BEng) from College or University in a technical area of study (Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems) or equivalent technical work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in IS application management and service delivery.
• ERP implementation experience with Finance, Supply Chain Planning, Sales Order Management, Procurement, or any other modules required.
• General Knowledge of Microsoft Technologies (MS SQL Server, MS .NET, MS SharePoint)
• Strong project management skills and familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to bridge between functional and technical information and resources by communicating effectively Between business and technical resources and leadership.
• Experience in participating large ERP implementations/ Application Management Service delivery across multiple business units.
• Proven problem solving and analytical thinking and ability to approach problems logically and systematically.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and multi-task efficiently.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
