As the New Product Introduction Manager, your primary responsibility is to pave the way for seamless serial production of new or modified products. This role places you at the intersection of various ABB functions and supplier collaborations, ensuring our products are manufactured at optimal cost, highest performance, and impeccable quality.
Your work will involve integrating production considerations into product designs, enhancing producibility, testability, and assembly efficiency. You'll optimize production flow and layout to streamline operations. Developing a robust Quality Control Plan based on Failure Mode Analysis will be essential, alongside establishing a precise Measurement System through Statistical Process Control methods.
In addition to these tasks, you will organize and conduct thorough audits, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement. Clear and comprehensive reporting to stakeholders will keep everyone aligned and informed about progress and outcomes.
