What are the ongoing responsibilities of Intern in Operations?

Global Shareholder Services department consists of several groups that support FT clients across the globe – on US, Canadian and International markets. Our main responsibility is dealing with our customers’ requests (maintaining accounts and execute various financial transactions) but we also have teams that have direct contact with the clients, pull variety of reports and analyze the data as well as provide additional supporting functions.

We are searching two Interns, who will support GSS Operations International and Canada teams. 

What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?

• Current student status and the availability to work 25-30 hours per week (8:00a.m. to 6:00 pm or 1:00 pm to 10:00p.m. CET depending on the team)
• Excellent command of the English language both written and spoken
• Knowledge of an additional language such as French or German is preferable. We have teams, where French or German are used daily
• A tech savvy individual with knowledge of MS Office tools such as Excel, Outlook & Word
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for details
• Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
