In this role you will be responsible to lead the execution of the connected services project in Business Area Robotics and Discrete Automation (RA) at global level. This requires the integration of hardware and software and will be enhancing the customer experience to take it to the next level.

The location of this role is flexible globally with a preference for a European or Indian location.

Your responsibilities

• Effectively organize, monitor and control activities to ensure achievement of planned stage-gates and efficient utilization of available resources.
• Manage and if applicable, document business requirements and functional requirements required to deliver required capabilities. Ensure test plans are created including relevant test cases against business and functional requirements.
• Drive the development with combination of internal and external technical team challenging proposed setups and solutions; communicate to stakeholders the progress with clearly defined RACI for each project element / enhancement
• Drive agreement on desired design & data architecture with global process owner and head of architecture. Document and maintain the data flows and interfaces within RA tools.
• Manage, monitor and control project cost and financials. Identify, contain, and reduce risk, and ensure that all opportunities are captured and acted upon. Formalize acceptance of the project and bring all the project elements to a conclusion.
• Effectively monitor and control project progress, proactively manage and mitigate project risks.
• Monitor and control project financials, oversee project invoicing status, cost, expenses, and cash flow.

• Approx. 10 years of experience at least 5 of which in IS Project Management
• Technically adept with knowledge of connected services or an IoT environment in an industrial or B2B setting
• Significant experience of the integration of hardware and software
• PMP Certification is required
• Experience in IS Project Methodology and/or Gate Model for IS Projects is preferred
• Financial management and controlling of projects
• Ability to work with virtual teams in international environment and in a cross cultural setting
• Excellent leadership qualities including result orientation, change management, personal leadership, team work and collaboration, customer orientation, strategic orientation
