Opis stanowiska

You will be working as IS Sourcing Negotiation Manager and will be part of Process Automation (INOPC PA) for BA Function Operation Centers and Quality division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Global Category Manager and will be responsible for aiming at the alignment of IS cost to business value through dynamic technology sourcing, continuously working to strike the right balance of risk, speed and cost in the identification, selection and contractual integration of best suited vendors. The IS Sourcing Negotiation Manager shall be the go-to lead for complex IS sourcing projects and negotiations typically above $500K contract value.

Your responsibilities

  • Managing the IS sourcing requirement to contract process from engagement, RFQ / RFP, subsequent negotiations through to contract signature
  • Working closely with requestor/business owner/IS service owner to drive deal structuring and aligning with vendor portfolio management, IS sourcing category strategy, selection and negotiation strategies with GBS IS / BA IS accordingly
  • Defining the negotiation strategy including negotiation targets, negotiations plan, governance, BATNA, weaknesses and strengths
  • Cooperating closely with customers, internal stakeholders and subject matter experts (legal, tax, security, privacy and finance) providing leadership and guidance for allocated IS sourcing projects
  • Supporting business and IT stakeholders in aligning IS Sourcing delivery model to business needs
  • Driving cost saving for allocated negotiations and contributing to the achievement of IS sourcing saving targets (accurate and periodical forecasting and reporting)
  • Working in close collaboration with CTL’s, category specialists and regional leads, optimize tendering processes liaising with category team lead’s and the OP (RFP factory) accordingly

Wymagania

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree from a reputed college
  • Minimum 10 years professional experience especially in the competency areas of: supply chain management, IS Sourcing, stakeholder management, leading complex IS Sourcing projects, problem solving, cross-functional collaboration, commercial and technical
  • Track record of minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in strategic IS Sourcing (especially Software / SaaS, IT Services and Infrastructure)
  • IS Sourcing Category Management experience (preferably Software / SaaS, IT Services or Infrastructure)
  • Substantial understanding of the legal aspects in the context of IS Sourcing contract negotiations
  • Substantial understanding of the security and privacy aspects in the context of IS Sourcing contract negotiations
  • Excellent leadership skills and collaboration between different businesses / stakeholders
