Opis stanowiska

You will be part of the development team in implementing services for connected home appliances
You will develop within an agile team, micro-services with focus on content creation and delivery
Participate in further development of microservices-oriented architecture in the context of Home Connect IoT-Platform
Participate in the selection of proper and well-suited technologies for the project (your voice matters)
Develop robust, high quality software as a member of the Home Connect development team operated in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) model
Continuously work on optimizing the code to achieve a solid software architecture
Collaborate with team by focusing on delivering value for customer
Create, enhance and maintain automated Unit- / UI-Tests
Analyze software problems and work on bug fixes

Wymagania

Professional software development for more than 2 years, open-minded and flexible in technology usage
BACKEND: Solid practical knowledge in designing & building microservices-oriented architecture - preferably Node.js (server-side / backend) with deep knowledge about asynchronous communication, Promises, Async/Await and WebSockets
FRONTEND: Solid practical knowledge in designing & building frontend with React.js, CSS, HTML
Experience in working with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
Experience in using version control systems (GIT)
Experience in working with AWS, as we use it on daily basis in nearly everything
Familiar with the basics of web technologies (principles of the HTTP & REST, data-storing & transferring formats such as JSON, XML)
Agile development behavior, supported by practices (Scrum, Kanban) and related tools like Bamboo, JIRA, Wiki-technologies
Know-how of methods and tools for automated testing (Unit-/UI-Testing)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, German is a big plus

Nice to have:

PHP/CMS Drupal knowledge (to be able to migrate code to Node.js), Cloud Foundry PaaS
As you are part of a cross functional team, knowledge of iOS (Objective C/Swift)
Android (Java/Kotlin) could be an advantage as well as Linux and Java/Scala for other existin backend services.
Confluence, JIRA, Bamboo/Jenkins, Bitbucket, Artifactory experience would be perfect
