- Support divisional and cross-divisional strategic analyses and initiatives to secure continuous and profitable growth for ABB, collaborating with and guiding business leaders in the development of market models, competitive analyses, identification of market trends and new business opportunities, and evaluation of business performance, among other tasks.

- Own relevant strategic data analytics across business lines and align with different businesses and functions to build meaningful division dashboards, analyses, action plans, and high-impact reports for the division.

- Play an active role in commercial due diligence processes, including the preparation of presentation materials for internal stakeholders, covering various transaction types such as acquisitions, divestments, and joint ventures (JVs) from initial assessment to due diligence, negotiations, pre-closing, and integration preparations.

- Collaborate with business line leaders and teams in the development of M&A and partnership pipelines, company profiles of potential targets, and deal theses for acquisitions, JVs, divestments, and partnerships.

To be successful in this role, you bring a minimum of 7 years of experience as a business or M&A analyst. Ideally, you also have experience in business strategy, consulting, or M&A finance, with a strong background in commercial due diligence being a plus. Your expertise in industries such as Mining, Pulp & Paper, Metals, Hydrogen, Food & Beverage, Cement, Data Centers, or similar fields, along with knowledge in Process Automation, Sustainability, Service, and/or Digital, will be highly valued.

You possess expert knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI, allowing you to prepare impactful presentations, reports, and business cases. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills enable you to make strategic recommendations that drive business success. Additionally, your excellent communication and interpersonal abilities allow you to work collaboratively with and through others at all levels of the organization.

Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential for this role.
